July 24th Wednesday
Evening Summer Gathering
On Wednesday 24th July, John and Shirley Stirland opened their garden at 65 Queen’s Road, Fakenham for an opportunity to not only explore their garden, but also mingle with other members and gardeners, with a glass of something and a bite to eat.
John and Shirley moved to Fakenham in 2021 and the garden they inherited needed some restoration. John has drawn on his years in horticulture to design and plant a new garden, incorporating his and Shirley’s desire to attract and sustain a diversity of plant and wildlife.
Despite the weather gods deciding that a short shower would add to the proceedings the event was enjoyed by all and it was good to meet a number of our "Facebook only" members in person.
